Today I got my PLUS performance lowering springs installed onto my Prius by Cabe Toyota of Long Beach. I have to say I am thoroughly satisfied with the service I received today. From dealing with the service manager to the cashier and the whole process of checking out a rental car – completely seamless. I dropped the car off at 7:30AM and received a call to go pick it up at 10:30AM. The entire install process took between 2.5 hours to 3 hours and I got my complimentary car wash. The part number for the springs is PTR07-47100.

As for the ride difference, the PLUS lowering springs definitely feels stiffer than the stock suspension. It feels like a nimble version of my old RSX. Next up, PLUS rear sway bar.
I definitely will return to Cabe for parts and services after today’s experience, kudos to their entire team for taking care of their customers and admitting when they were wrong instead of blaming their customers. It’s a shame that one person’s dishonesty cost them a Prius C Four sale two weeks ago.

Yeah, service advisor (i.e. service manager) was Rico. Not sure if you can get the springs installed + alignment for $120; I got that rate because I bought my Prius there and because of a sour incident we had with the sales manager when we returned as previous customer looking for a Prius C. The experience ultimately resulted in us buying the C from North Hollywood Toyota. Parts were provided by the lady, but you can get the springs pretty much anywhere. eBay, look up clearwatertoyota – $220 with free shipping.
