The trip will begin after a short vacation in Solvang and Cayucos, spanning a total of 6 days with the 6th day being the return day. Through the trip, I will be making three stops: Carmel-by-the-Sea, Shelter Cove and then finally Trinidad. I’ll be hiking and taking photos of Point Lobos while in Carmel, then the black sandy beach of Shelter Cove. Once I reach Trinidad, I’ll be making two hiking stops. One into Fern Canyon and the other will be at the Lady Bird Johnson Grove. If I’m prepared ahead of schedule, I may camp out in Trinidad on the 5th night before making a return trip on the 6th day.

Before trekking back (12+ hour road trip), I will travel up north past Crescent City and into Harbor, OR for some last minute photo opportunities. It will be one heck of a solo trip, but the photo opportunities and rejuvenation, away from hectic city life, will be well worth it.
